Introduction

KakaoTalk_20250404_145448757.jpg

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Weather and Climate Dynamics Laboratory, led by Professor Seok-Woo Son at Seoul National University, where I focus on developing AI-based climate prediction models.

I earned my Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Myongji University, where my research focused on developing an organic aerosol scheme within a coupled atmospheric chemistry–climate model and investigating the climatic impacts of light-absorbing aerosols over East Asia.

My academic and research interests lie in aerosol–climate interactions, Earth system modeling, and the integration of artificial intelligence into climate prediction systems.
I have experience working with global and regional models including GRIMs-CCM, GEOS-Chem, WRF, and WRF-GC, and I actively apply machine learning techniques to improve prediction performance.

In addition to my academic journey in Korea, I studied abroad at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China, which broadened my cultural and academic perspective.I aim to bridge atmospheric science and AI to advance the understanding and prediction of complex climate extremes in East Asia.
